Worried by the wastages associated with unattended projects across the country, the Federal Government, yesterday, revoked major road projects in the country, particularly those abandoned for years due to one reason or the other. Minister of Works, Mr Mike Onolememen, who disclosed this in Abuja, when he received a delegation of Ogoni Council of Traditional Rulers from Rivers State, who visited him in his office, said the Federal Government would revoke major road projects, including the South-East Road, which had been abandoned for 10 years.

Former media aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri has alleged that a top Northern politician who is also a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) wished death for President Muhammadu Buhari in a leaked audio. Omokri identified the politician as Sulaiman Adamu, adding that the APC chieftain is frustrated like many other Nigerians, and he and his allies were heard in the audio lamenting the hardship and insecurity in the north.
