Operatives of the Ekiti State Police Command have apprehended 13 suspects who are connected to murder, armed robbery and rape in some parts of the state. The state police spokesperson, Sunday Abutu, revealed that the suspects confessed to forming their gang after the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) unit was Disbanded in October 2020. He further revealed that the suspects confessed to various crimes one of them being the murder of one POS operator, Francis Apata, at Ilawe-Ekiti in December 2021.
