People have taken to Twitter to express their intent to boycott the popular fast-food chain over recent vaccine mandates. But while supporters of the boycott claim that they're being discriminated against, there's far more to the story.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Vice Chairman (Northwest), Salihu Lukman, has said the level of impunity under the leadership of the former National Chairman of the party, Abdullahi Adamu, reached its height when the former Nasarawa state governor tried to impose a presidential candidate on the party. In a statement on Sunday, Lukman said apart from freezing statutory organs of the party, Adamu tried foisting the then Senate President, Ahmad Lawan on the party but was swiftly cut to size by state governors and Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who was then an aspirant.

Naija News reports that unknown gunmen attacked the Senator representing Anambra South Senatorial District on Sunday along Enugwu-Ukwu road in Anambra State. It was gathered that the assailants ambushed the lawmaker’s convoy and opened fire on his cars in an attempt to get a hit on Ubah but the senator managed to escape the attack despite his car being riddled with bullets. Some police operatives and aides of the lawmaker were killed in the attack.
