The National Working Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nigeria’s ruling party, has named Abiola Ajimobi who is reportedly sick as its acting National Chairman. Naija News reports that the decision of the APC NWC comes after the affirmation of the suspension of its National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole by the Court of Appeal sitting in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital earlier today. In a statement issued by its National Publicity Secretary, Mallam Lanre Issa-Onilu on Tuesday night, the APC said it has received the news indicating the Appeal Court has upheld the suspension of the Party’s National Chairman, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole by an FCT High Court pending the determination of the substantive suit.
