Sofia Vergara’s Journey To Super-stardom So Far
The 47-year-old Vergara started modeling when she was a teenager and landed the Mexican TV series Acapulco, Cuerpo y Alma. She was seventeen when she appeared for her first commercial with Pepsi. She moved to the United States to host the travel show, Fuera de serie.
Sofia worked hard to provide a life for her and her son Manolo from her first marriage to high school sweetheart Joe Gonzalez that lasted from 1991 to 1993 during that time.

Her first film role was the criminal comedy Big Trouble in 2002.
She and her business partner Luis Balaguer started a talent management firm based in Miami, Latin World Entertainment(LWE). Together they sold a million copies of Sofia Vergara’s bikini calendar. LWE has been really focused on licensing and endorsement deals from then on.
In 2011, Vergara was named the face of CoverGirl, with the first advertisements appearing in January 2012. In April 2011, Vergara appeared in a Diet Pepsi commercial with David Beckham and another in January 2012.

She got nominated for The Emmy, Golden Globe and SAG nominated actress for her role as Gloria Pritchett-Delgado in the #1 comedy in America, Modern Family. In seasons 1 through 3, between 2009 and 2011, Sofia earned $30,000 per episode. That’s roughly $2.6 million total for the three seasons. For seasons 4 and 5 she earned $90,000 per episode, roughly $5 million total. From 2014 to 2018, Sofia earned $190,000 for each episode of Modern Family. That works out to around $4 million per season. Starting in 2018, her salary was boosted to $500,000 per episode. That works out to around $10 million per season!

Vergara is now a judge of America’s Got Talent with Simon Cowell, Heidi Klum and Howie Mandel and is said to have an eight-figure salary on it.
