An argument, however, ensued the following day when the accused approached his friend who was in company of his father, Mr Usims, and his brother, on Price Fadina Street, which led to a fight between the accused and the Usim family.

On thing led to another and in the process Isaac who is currently on the run allegedly stabbed 17-year‑old Kehinde, a vulcanizer who was said to have left Ibadan for Lagos in search of greener pasture with a screw driver in the neck.

The attacker was immediately ordered by eyewitness and sympathisers to rush him to Saint James Hospital, from where he was referred to Falati Hospital but unfortunately died before getting to the hospital.

Meanwhile, the alleged killer's family escaped being lynched by angry hoodlums who had stormed their residence at 44, Prince Fadina Street after hearing of Kehinde death but  for the intervention of some concerned residents, the suspect’s younger brother would have been lynched while other occupants of the building were said to have fled for fear of being caught up in the attack.
